What is Carbon Fiber Prepreg?

Carbon fiber prepreg is a composite material made by pre-impregnating carbon fiber tows or fabrics with a resin system. These materials—either thermoset or thermoplastic—are evenly coated and partially cured, then rolled for convenient storage and processing. Prepregs offer consistent resin content and excellent processability.

What is Recycled Carbon Fiber Prepreg?

Recycled carbon fiber prepreg is produced by combining recycled carbon fiber paper or recycled carbon fiber nonwoven fabric with a specialized resin system. It retains the core benefits of carbon fiber—including high strength, lightweight, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance—while offering significant environmental benefits by incorporating reclaimed materials.
