JEC World 2025 Recap: Thermolysis Advances Innovation in Recycled Carbon Fiber Applications
2025/3/20
JEC World 2025, the world’s leading trade show for composite materials, successfully concluded on March 6 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. Thermolysis proudly showcased a range of recycled carbon fiber solutions and innovative applications, including colored recycled carbon fiber pellets and nonwoven fabrics for both thermoset and thermoplastic processes. The booth drew significant attention from global representatives across diverse industries—automotive, aerospace, sporting goods, and construction—sparking meaningful exchanges with both prospective and long-term partners.
Throughout the event, Thermolysis engaged in discussions with industry leaders from Asia, Europe, Canada, and the Americas. Topics included the market potential and solutions for recycled carbon fiber pellets, nonwoven fabrics, and carbon fiber-reinforced concrete. Among the highlights was a positive response from the technical team at Canadian canoe manufacturer Hudson Boat, who expressed strong interest in the performance of Thermolysis’s recycled carbon fiber paper in thermoset processes.
In addition to deepening relationships with key partners, Thermolysis also expanded its reach to new customers by promoting its current closed-loop recycling business model. Notably, several of the world’s top five bicycle brands showed interest in adopting our circular approach to address waste challenges and meet their carbon reduction targets through sustainable material integration.
